I grew up in West Virginia. In the 5th grade, I was asked if I had stuck my finger in an electrical socket because my hair was big. My dreams of being the national spelling bee champ were dashed in the 7th grade when I misspelled 'nozzle' as 'nausal' in the first round of the county spelling bee and heard the bell go ding (I will find that angel and take their wings!) I found my voice in high school when I was asked to scream bloody murder in a play. I felt I could finally express myself, but I was too scared to follow that passion right away. When I arrived at NYU, I figured with my unique style (jeans, NYU sweatshirt, sneakers, and baseball cap) I could rock the fashion world. Alas, I learned I was too cool and found my way into investment banking...and from there...well...Let me introduce you to myself...
